# Fantastic

> Recommendations of things real people chose, products, gear, music, film, places, and media, each linked to a real listing, with purchase links to matched merchants for catalog picks. Also audience research and lookups of Fantastic users. Built for AI agents.

Every API call needs the user's Fantastic Agents API key (`Authorization: Bearer <key>`). Users create one, or connect with OAuth, at https://fantastic.app/agents?tab=setup. If you don't have a key, ask the user for it.

## If you can only open URLs

Open `https://fantastic.app/agents/recommend?topic=<what the user wants>`. No key is needed: it returns real recommendations, not yet personalized, plus a `sign_in` object. If the user wants personalized results and to earn from purchases, give them `sign_in.approval_url` to approve once, then open `sign_in.retry_url` from then on.
